REU Running Challenge - Together we can change the lifes of the most vulnerable

In many poor countries, hospitals with qualified doctors, good equipment and medicines are in short supply, especially in remote areas. It often takes many hours of walking to get there - an imposition for sick people or even pregnant women. Local health workers are often the only ones who can educate and treat people in remote regions. The most common diseases and causes of death in poor regions are infections, diarrhea and malnutrition.

Improving health care for people in poor countries has long been an essential part of World Vision's work. Especially during the Corona crisis, we are drawing on our global health network to ensure that diseases like COVID-19 are prevented and children grow up healthy. Our goal is to make people independent of our aid in the long term.

As a bonus to get healthier, BSH will also contribute to a social cause by kindly donate 20 cents/km to World Vision until they reach two laps around the world.
